Shiba Inu Unveils Release Plan for First Shibarium Web3 Game

The Shiba Inu ecosystem has made a major advancement with the launch of the closed beta version of Shiba Eternity, its first game built on the Shibarium blockchain. Lucie, the marketing lead for Shiba Inu, outlined the release schedule and key features of the game in a detailed announcement on X, marking a significant milestone in the meme coin evolution into a more utility-focused platform.

Shiba Inu Launches First Shibarium-Based Game

According to Lucie, this version of Shiba Eternity is a complete overhaul from its previous iteration. “Attention Leash Stakers! Closed beta for Shiba Eternity is live. This isn’t just the old game with a few updates – it’s a complete shift to Web3 with significant upgrades” Lucie shared.

The game now runs on the Shibarium mainnet, which supports non-fungible tokens (NFTs). This integration enables a decentralized gaming experience, where players’ inventory cards are represented as NFTs, ensuring verifiable ownership and tradeability within the ecosystem.

The core architecture of the game is now based on the Shibarium blockchain, allowing for a secure and seamless gaming experience by leveraging blockchain technology for asset management and in-game transactions.

Additionally, Shiba Eternity introduces a competitive ranked mode, featuring 15-day tournaments where players’ rankings are determined by their performance, with rewards distributed based on their final standings. Exclusive tournaments are available for the top 25 players, offering seasonal events with unique rewards.

The game has also undergone significant improvements, including an updated tutorial, a polished menu interface, streamlined armory management and enhanced overall performance. The new reward system provides better quests, quicker progression and special welcome gifts for players transitioning from the Web2 version of the game.

Release Schedule

The closed beta for Shiba Eternity was launched on August 21, exclusively for those who have staked LEASH tokens. These participants can connect their smart wallets via ShibaSwap to access the game. This early access phase is crucial for gathering user feedback and ensuring stability before a broader release.

On September 5, access will be expanded to include holders of specific NFTs within the Shiba Inu ecosystem, such as The Shiboshis and The Shiba Eternity Lore collections. Details about an open beta release are yet to be announced. “No LEASH or NFTs? No worries! The open beta is on the way, giving everyone a chance to enter the Dogjo,” Lucie added.

Lucie also issued a security warning, advising users to be cautious of scams: “Beware of scams! Only connect your wallet through official platforms. Never click on links from unknown sources on X or elsewhere. Always manually enter the official website address and double-check before connecting your wallet.”

At the time of writing, SHIB was trading at $0.00001362.
